Workflow

A clear process from first conversation to handover.

Every project is built in deliberate, transparent phases with clear checkpoints so you always know what is being built, what is next, and what is required from you.

Process Guiding Principles

Realistic Timelines

Timelines are agreed after the project scope is clearly defined and dependencies are understood. No rushed work or unachievable delivery promises.

Transparent Written Scope

Every deliverable is written down before work begins. Third-party hosting, Shopify subscriptions, and domain fees are clearly separated.

Checkpoints at Every Stage

You review work at each milestone before proceeding to the next step, ensuring complete alignment from structure to final launch.

The 7 Stages

How We Build Your Project

From first requirement gathering to final domain connection and optional post-launch care.

  1. 01

    Discovery and requirements

Understand your goals, audience, and must-have features.

    Stage 01

  2. 02

    Scope and estimate

Agree on what will be built, what is excluded, and the cost.

    Stage 02

    What Happens

Requirements are turned into a defined list of pages, features, and integrations.

    Approval Milestone

Sign-off on structure and visual direction.

  4. 04

    Development

Build the agreed features with regular progress updates.

    Stage 04

    What Happens

The website or application is built according to the approved scope.

    You Provide

Timely answers to questions and any remaining content.

    I Deliver

Progress updates and a preview link to review work in progress.

    Approval Milestone

    Feedback on preview builds.

  5. 05

    Testing and revisions

Test across devices and refine based on feedback.

    Stage 05

    What Happens

Testing on mobile, tablet, and desktop, plus revisions within the agreed scope.

    You Provide

Consolidated feedback on the review build.

    I Deliver

Fixes and revisions, with a note of any requests outside the original scope.

  7. 07

    Optional maintenance

Ongoing updates and improvements if you need them.

    Stage 07

    What Happens

Ongoing updates, fixes, and small improvements under a separately agreed arrangement.

    You Provide

    Change requests and priorities.

    I Deliver

Updates according to the agreed maintenance scope.

    Approval Milestone

Approval of any work outside the maintenance scope.

What happens if your requirements change during the project?

It is normal for new ideas to emerge as you see the project take shape. If a change falls within the agreed scope, it is simply incorporated into the revisions.

If a request introduces completely new features, extra pages, or unanticipated integrations, I will prepare a separate scope and estimate for your review before doing the additional work. Nothing is invoiced without your explicit prior approval.
